Same team, same account, same documents, plus an AI assistant that can answer your questions as you go.
If you've used Executor.org before, the site will look different today. We rebuilt it to make settling an estate less overwhelming, and added a few tools to help you get through it faster.
Ask a question, get a plain-English answer. "How do I get a death certificate in Ohio?" "What is probate?" "Do I need to notify Social Security?" The assistant knows what state you're in, which tasks you've already finished, and what's left, so the answers fit your situation.
Every task on your plan now comes with a short "why this matters" and a link to ask the assistant a follow-up. You don't have to leave the page to figure out what's being asked of you.
The home page and how-it-works pages are clearer about what an executor actually does: the legal role, the paperwork, the people to coordinate, how long it takes, and whether you get paid. If you're deciding whether to take the job on, you can find out in a few minutes.
Most of the site now loads noticeably quicker on mobile.
Your account, your task list, and every document you've uploaded are exactly where you left them. The questionnaire still takes about two minutes. Pricing is the same.
If something looks wrong, or a page you had bookmarked no longer works, email us and we'll fix it.
