Task 8 of 17

Create and keep up with a record-keeping system

Part of: Plan Your Own Estate Now

Having organized records can help the executor of your estate. If you do not already keep important information about your accounts, insurance, investments, home, etc., you should start doing so now. With each passing month, you should be sure paperwork is properly filed away.

It is also often a good idea to give a copy of this list to an attorney, accountant, or financial planner with whom you do business.
